Congress will soon consider allowing Reservists and National Guardsmen unlimited use of Commissarys on Military Bases. It looks as if this issue will pass. Congress also is considering raising the death gratuity paid to families of members killed on active duty for the purpose of burying them. The Bush Administration opposes these initiatives because they will "undermine service prerogatives on managing personnel and divert resources from higher priority programs." People ain't a high priority in the bush white house. Supporting the troops???? I report, you decide.
Can't pay the Labor too much....bad for the bottom line.
Question: Who supplies the Reserve and Guard troops? Are they supplied through Regular Military or are private contractors feeding and gassing them? I heard that this was the reason reserve troops are used so often: Private contractors make a bundle running the supply lines. Anyone know for certain?
