I know some here don't like NPR...
...But I have to give them credit this morning for three times calling * on the fact that he linked Saddam and 9/11 in his press conference yesterday.

I think that's progress, no?

1. Yep--it's all we've got now.
I nearly tossed my pesto 'n garlic bread when the effing LOCAL news went out asking people if they thought that OBL would be found quicker now that Saddam has been captured.

The only possible answer to that is that Iraq was a distraction.

3. but likely many of those people interviewed were under the delusion
that Saddam and Bin Laden were co-conspirators on 9/11 and that Saddam will rat out his accomplice. Total BS, but I am sure many believe exactly that.
