Liberal/progressives Willie Nelson, Bonnie Raitt & more, a benefit for...
Edited on Mon Dec-15-03 09:22 PM by BackDoorMan
Dennis Kucinich for president (in Austin, Texas) http://www.kucinich.us/index.php

I'm happy to see some liberal progressives and big names, such as Nelson, Raitt, etc. coming out for a great man and I hope a lot more "names" donate their time for Dennis (he indeed needs the donation money, as the right-wing media is completely ignoring his great liberal message, for ALL the people.)

Kucinich's message needs to be heard by as many Americans as possible, BEFORE they make up their corporate media fed minds.

4. I met Bonnie last night
at the Howard Dean event in SF. She was amazing, played some great stuff. We ran into her later in the lobby of the Fairmont, I introduced her to my daughter, she was very nice.

What an amazing voice.

5. Wish I could go!
I'm not a country fan, but this is something I'd like to see.

Any DUers in Austin who can give a report?

9. Two other high profile artists
Michelle Shocked & Tim Reynolds who has recorded/performed with Dave Mathews.

http://www.michelleshocked.com/ doesn't have the concert listed yet, but no doubt she's a DK fan as well as being concerned about BBV.
