Mike Malloy's show disrupted.
Edited on Mon Dec-15-03 10:33 PM by Cascadian
Sound like Mike Malloy's show has been cut off. Network problems apparently.

However, after the end of the aborted show, somehow they forgot to shut off Mike's microphone. I could hear him swearing a blue streak.

Why does it seem like our liberal talk shows always seem to have "technical difficulties"?

1. Low production budgets?
That would be my guess. This reminds me of the time a car hit a telephone pole across from Thom Hartmann's house and messed up his show... he had to do it on a telephone.

2. I thought I heard they switched the out the equipment
last week. Probably in prep for the sale of the network. It is too bad wealthy liberals do not support the few media outlets we have left.

It was hard to hear Mike tonight, only one out of ten words came through.

3. Heard it
Seems like a good time to just shut down the computer. Especially since we got an enormous electrical bill in the mail, today. No more just leaving stuff on all day for me. And if MM can't be on, well... nite-nite and I'll grab a book from my stash.

I really do miss him when they have difficulties. Let's hope for the best for tomorrow night.

4. I think he's been Freeped
Rush talking about Malloy:

"My friends, these angry white liberals like Howard Dean, Al Franken, and Mike Malloy hate America no matter what. Now, don't listen to or write or :cough: destroy his studio equipment :cough:"

8. That is a rebroadcast you're listening to.
It's a tape. He left about 15 minutes ago.

10. Stupid question, but how
do I listen to his show? I've been reading a lot of threads about him lately, but have no idea how to get his show. Is it on the Internet?

http://www.ieamericaradio.com and click on "Listen Live" for Malloy between nine and midnight Mon to Fri. Thom Hartmann is good too, noon to three.

Only available online, I believe.

on edit: there's no such thing as stupid questions, just stupid presidents.
