why can't Saddam stay in Ferdinand Marcos old house in Hawaii?

I thought that's what we did with brutal dictators that looted their country.
But- I guess that's only for the brutal dictators that remain our puppets, huh? I'll bet Saddaam wishes that he had taken the time to get a little friendlier with ronnie raygun, instead of always dealing with his underlings.

other than the "he gassed his own people" canard, what appreciabl differences are there between the reign of Marcos in the Philipines, and Saddam in Iraq?

The last thing we need here is another dictator. Send them to Miami - maybe he can hook up with the ex-Latin American dictators that are there.

3. I really thought

that Saddam would fly out of Iraq during the 48 hour period BUsh announced before invading. I was sure he'd go at the last minute. I bet he wished he did. He could have been in a palae somewhere issuing statements to feed the resistance and hoping to make a comeback. Now it looks like a public execution is in store for him.

5. I have to say.. Saddam was pretty stupid

Why wasnt he happy with being Ronald and Bush Sr's puppy? he could still have been a brutal dictator and lived in extreme luxury.. and then retired in Florida or something.

Instead he has to invade a neighbouring country and screw everything up lol
