Bush's all-time stupidest moments
Let's make a list. I'll start:

1. Slapping Laura Bush on the ass on TV.

2. Paying for that illegal abortion for his ex-girlfriend in 1970.

3. Pretzel of mass destruction...

10. The way Bush* called Americans to the battlements Vs. Evil

"People say, how can I help on this war against terror? How can I fight evil? You can do so by mentoring a child; by going into a shut-in's house and say I love you."

- George W. Bush*, Washington, D.C., Sept. 19, 2002

* AWOL while honor-bound by solemn oath to be serving with the Texas National Guard in the 1970s; defeated by a clear majority of patriotic and discerning American voters in the 2000 election; appointed to office by the so-called supreme court.

14. Can't be bothered to read newspapers!
http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,98006,00.html

HUME: How do you get your news?

BUSH: I get briefed by Andy Card and Condi in the morning. They come in and tell me. In all due respect, you've got a beautiful face and everything.

I glance at the headlines just to kind of a flavor for what's moving. I rarely read the stories, and get briefed by people who are probably read the news themselves. But like Condoleezza, in her case, the national security adviser is getting her news directly from the participants on the world stage.

HUME: Has that been your practice since day one, or is that a practice that you've...

BUSH: Practice since day one.

HUME: Really?

BUSH: Yes. You know, look, I have great respect for the media. I mean, our society is a good, solid democracy because of a good, solid media. But I also understand that a lot of times there's opinions mixed in with news. And I...

HUME: I won't disagree with that, sir.

BUSH: I appreciate people's opinions, but I'm more interested in news. And the best way to get the news is from objective sources. And the most objective sources I have are people on my staff who tell me what's happening in the world.

15. Pumping his fist and saying "Feel good!" just before
announcing he's sending our military into war.

Saying "Bring 'em on!"

Saying, "I'm the one that has to hug the widows and the children blah blah blah."

Telling the young female Olympic athlete, "Excuse me, I've got a war to fight."

Saying to the guy from W. Virginia, "I've had twins and I've been to war and twins are harder."

Making it personal about him vs. the dictators instead of rising above the scummy human rights abusers and making it a higher issue of morals and laws.

His costumed photo op on the carrier.

To sum up, he is an immature, show-offy, disturbed person who thinks war is a game and shows no regard for the military or their families and no concept of the seriousness of sending people to die.

22. "...As long as I get to be dictator"
If the Democrats are smart, they will use this quote a lot in their ads. The average American, the so-called "swing voter" will be turned off big time. I just don't think that many people are even aware that he even said it. We need to remind people of Bush's true feelings about our democracy and freedoms.
