Where's the outcry?
Corporations moving jobs offshore left and right, as quickly as they base themselves off US soil to avoid paying taxes.

Apart from relaying what President Apostate*, who openly supports the corporate movement, has said, what has the media said in response to these vile situations?

3. But it is a recovery
A recovery exclusively for the CEOs and higher-paid staff.

It isn't a recovery for the working class.

The rich got tax cuts.

The rest of us got job cuts.

It's called a jobloss (not jobless) recovery. Pretty bizarre stuff.

This is not a world I want to live in... nor most of us, so we've got to fight back and get the word out.

7. Yes, that was what I was trying to say
The rich keep getting richer; the poor keep getting more poor. Very sad.

2. nothing
because the media is owned by some of the same corporations who must "hate America" because of all they are doing to undermine the country by outsourcing good jobs to the 3rd world.

4. Oh, they love America, they won't hate it...
Until their $$$ and power gets taken away by TRUE freedom.

Then they'll hate it.

America is by, of, and for the corporation. The People are just the puppets, willing to be played.

6. A media that's likely to expand through globalization..
the silver lining to recent job transfers is that the exposure of white collar workers -- engineers, programmers -- to it might help wake up the middle class (in time to witness its own demise, unfortunately).

5. This must be how it was to live in the USSR about 15 years ago,
plenty of secrecy and no media to tell ÒWe the peopleÓ what the truth is about the dilemma weÕre in. God, itÕs frightening.

9. One of the REAL crimes of our times
I should point out that this did not start with Bush....CLINTON gave us NAFTA (thanks, Bill) and the "paper cover" for corporate America to perpetuate these crimes. However, it has become a *pandemic* under George W. Bush. For me, this is a HUGE reason why we MUST elect a Democrat in 2004.
