I heard this rumor for the first time last week, through a semi-reliable source. Then saw it twice on DU. But I haven't been able to find a reliable citation.

I looked through the LATimes online but couldn't find anything.

Please, if anyone has anything, I would like to give confirmation one way or the other to some people who are working on the Lieberman campaign staff here in Arizona.
