Questions I'd ask Bush if I were Diane Sawyer....
Edited on Tue Dec-16-03 09:47 PM by Sean Reynolds
Mr. President, originally you said Iraq posed an immanent threat to the United States. After there were no signs that Iraq had WMD, you changed your tune to the fact that they ‘could’ acquire such weapons. Now it’s been 12 years since the first Gulf War, why wouldn’t Iraq have attacked us in those 12 years if they were in fact planning on it?

Mr. President, if it’s possible that Iraq could acquire WMD, doesn’t that mean ANY nation could acquire such weapons? If that is the true case, does that warrant an attack of every nation you deem a threat?

Mr. President does it matter that you undermined the American peoples trust by stating that you knew exactly where the WMD were? Does it matter that you called Iraq an immanent threat, meaning that they’d attack US shores within weeks and months? Yet all signs point to the fact that they were no threat what so ever?

Now that it’s clear Iraq posed NO threat to America, do you find it justifiable that your war killed 500 American troops and over 10,000 innocent Iraqis?
