with secret missiles. Apparently 75 Senators were there for a special briefing before the war. Nelson won't say who in the WH told him.

Nelson said the senators were told Iraq had both biological and chemical weapons, notably anthrax, and it could deliver them to cities along the Eastern seaboard via unmanned aerial vehicles, commonly known as drones.

"They have not found anything that resembles an UAV that has that capability," Nelson said.

Nelson delivered the news during a half-hour conference call with reporters Monday afternoon. The senator, who is on a seven-nation trade mission to South America, was calling from an airport in Santiago, Chile.

"That's news," said John Pike, director of GlobalSecurity.org, a Washington, D.C.-area military and intelligence think tank. "I had not heard that that was the assessment of the intelligence community. I had not heard that the Congress had been briefed on this."

was bullshit but having had an attempted murder occur in their own offices, decided that the Bushies were fucking crazy enough to unleash anthrax and kill more Americans if they did not get their way...it's a little difficult to go on TV and say that since the O'Really's of the world would immediately discredit them...but I have had this conversation with a friend recently.

I do think those that were against unilateral war but voted for IWR anyway did so out of a fear that Americans might be terrorized to scare them into war.

The senators, therefore, voted for war under PREDICTABLE circumstances rather than war under UNPREDICTABLE cirsumstances...they knew war was imminent regardless. They made a choice to save lives here rather than there. It's not a choice I would have wanted to make..but two years and STILL NO ANTHRAX killer even with a limited group of scientists with access....but we can find Saddam in a hole in the ground? Think about it.

It appears the media has been muzzled also, and now a senator speaks out. My God, what's going on? Why isn't ABC, NBC, FAUX, CNN, CBS, MSNBC all running with this story. This is big! How come, thee Dan Rather's isn't calling out to the top of his lungs for answers?
