apparently, troops are going door to door and killing people to and fro in an attempt to actually find saddam. horrific. and this'll be great for building relations with our new friends in iraq.

1. How credible is Robert Fisk in Bahgdad?
Never heard of him. Why aren't mainstream news organizations picking up on this? If it's true, it's beyond horrific. It's absolutely criminal. But I have no idea if it's true.

2. He seems pretty credible
Edited on Mon Jul-28-03 12:04 PM by Greyskye
Do a google search on him - you'll come up with pages of reports by him. He writes for the Independent ( http://www.independent.co.uk/ ), and is definitely a 'progressive' journalist. Myself, I have a tendency to believe what he writes.

On edit: here is a site which says: "This Website is mainly dedicated to articles by Robert Fisk - Middle East correspondent for Independent Newspaper UK"

4. They seem to now be IN the hornet's nest
Uday and Qusay's deaths have brought them close to Saddam. The fighting has really intensified the past week. Tensions seems to be much higher everywhere, hence all the deaths on both sides.
