Bad news for Rowland. New poll today -- 55% feel he should resign. Nancy Johnson seems to be backing away from him saying he is a good governor, but he has made some bad personal choices. Taking money from state contractors is hardly a personal thing! He will be making speech this morning -- begging for his political life!
Dodd was on cable public access the other night taking the wait and see approach. There is an investigation going on and if there is to be an impeachment, we should wait until the investigation is over. It didn't seem as though Dodd thought resignation would be a bad thing. He said he hates to see what this is doing to our state. He doesn't like to see us on the news due to Rowland's corruption. He seemed a bit miffed. I hope Rowland does step down. Bill Curry (who ran against him last year) had the best quote on this subject -- he wants a bumpersticker - "Don't Blame Me -- I Voted for Me". Gotta love it.
