OK Dean supporters. This is a critical time.
Obviously, the other candidates and other anti-Dean forces are making a big push to try to knock down Dean before the first primaries. We will not be able to rest over the holidays as perhaps we anticipated and hoped.

Please try to find as much time as you can to download flyers and statement from the DFA site and go hand them out somewhere.
Keep up with the news and send letters responding to negative attacks.
Connect with your local groups (meetup or local volunteers) for phone banking, canvassing, or hosting a house party.

Keep it positive! You have the power!

And to all allies and opponents: may the best man or woman win!

6. Perhaps you are unaware of current events.
I would recommend a perusal of antiDean threads here on DU, the "Stop Dean" movement, Hillary Clinton's desire to see Dean out of the race, the Dean/Ossama ad, and much more to enlighten you on this matter.

"Thugs" need not show up at your door in order to make you aware of what's going on with the antiDean push.

8. Will they show up at my job?
Actually, they'll probably start doing things like hitting his websites, etc. The volume of noise from the other candidates has reached a level over the past few days that by far surpasses the level that they hit earlier in the fall.

Only Al "Dapper Dan" Sharpton has been the one to keep the other candidates focused on solidarity and not attacking Dean!

5. Great job, ya'll!
We've been working hard here to reach out to the African-American community, and we are making good progress. Should be more good news (endorsements) coming soon.

Anyone near South Carolina: my understanding is that Dean is not on the primary ballot there yet! I'm not sure what the story is, but they are asking for help to get names on a petition. See here:

7. SC is no worry
They either have to collect signatures or pay something like $3000. Getting sigs is a great way to get out to the people and share Dean's name, while the $3000 would be a donation to a hurting D party in SC.

Either way, NC needs more signature help than SC does:

Did you know SC was considering placing ads on ballots in the primary?

"Halliburton- Your one stop shop for occupying foreign countries!"
or
"Diebold- we don' need no stinkin' certification!"
