CSPAN Thursday morning - NRA president
Anyone listening? I'm not anti-gun per se, but this guy is so disingenuous. He's calling campaign finance reform a "speech ban."

2. Wayne Lapier (sp?) I can't stand to listen to him.
I think he's pissed because he can't paint the Democrats as anti gun this time.

3. Woman caller
"Whatever happened to majority rules? We are a Christian nation." <-- I guess there's a reason why we don't emphasize civics or history any longer. :eyes:

5. The Bug Up His 12 Guage Ass: Campaign Finance
He's handstrung from throwing lots of soft money around next year...can't really be the player that he was in 2000, and this egomaniac is trying to get his nose in the tent.

There was a recent string about his desire to buy a TV network...(he's right in line behind Al Gore) and then, last week, a high powered radio station from Mexico, to blast his "they're gonna take our guns away, send me money" message 24/7.

This guy must stay up late each night working on perfecting his latest scare/lie.

6. Dean would be an NRA President if he got in
With the backing of the NRA and a wonderfullly superb rating of A+ from the NRA, Dean would be an NRA-funded President.

Ever wonder how much money he's getting from the NRA now?

7. I didn't realize the NRA
would be backing Dean over Bush. Do you have a link for that?

8. He's right.
In the suit that was filed and they lost, guess who one of their co-plaintiffs was? The ACLU. Yup, those rabid right-wingers at the ACLU....

"CFR" is basically the Government telling the entire nation to "sit down and shut up."

After all, we all know how HORRIBLE it would be if people could publish ads to inform the public about the political issues at hand right before an election...

And in case you didn't realize it, CFR muzzles DEMOCRATS just as much as Republicans, if not moreso. After all, Democrats have historically gone after large contributors, while Republicans get more of their money in smaller amounts from more donors, at least according to NPR.

Poeple like Soros have been muzzled by this just like the Republicans have been. It cuts both ways.
