The link to this article doesn't mention TBTM but does Mention the names of OUR lawyers, who frankly did a LOT of work on this case and as far as I can tell set the trap that made them BACK DOWN..

We'll issue a News Press release soon as well, also talk more about it as we get more facts - we want to make sure we don't give them the ammunition to go after us again..

this was dismissed "without prejudice" meaning that these idiots could file somewhere ELSE with virtually the same case - BUT we all may be able to sue them back for bringing it in the first place..

Talk Radio Network Drops Suit That Aimed to Shut Down Web Sites Critical of Right-Wing Radio Host

WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Talk Radio Network today dropped a suit aimed at shutting down Web sites that urge people to boycott companies that advertise on a nationally syndicated right-wing radio show. The suit was filed against four people who operate three Web sites critical of right-wing radio host Michael Savage. Public Citizen, which has a history of defending speech on the Internet, is representing two of those Web site operators, Thomas and Gunilla Leavitt of Santa Cruz, Calif., who created www.savagestupidity.com.

Their site, which Public Citizen defended on First Amendment grounds, criticizes offensive and bigoted comments made by Savage, who rails against African-Americans, Hispanics, Jewish liberals, women, gays, liberals and a variety of other groups on his show, "Savage Nation." The Web site also has audio clips from the show and calls for the public to write letters to Savage's advertisers urging them to withdraw their support from his program. The Web site urges the public to boycott advertisers who continue to support Savage.

I wanted to contribute monetarily and couldn't. I can't even afford xmas presents for my family this year. But I've been interested in this lawsuit because TBTM is one of the first sites I went to looking for answers about Bush.

I actually voted for Bush, then after the war in Afghanistan I noticed the quick focus on Iraq and the subsequent "LET'S DO IT!" by the press. I was dismayed. Something felt really fishy. No one around me seemed to notice. The news media didn't notice.

As stupid as it seems, I was remembering Attack of the Clones (no movie criticism please) and how Palpatine consolidated power: he started a war. I am a huge Star Wars fan and remembered a quote by George Lucas: "All democracies turn into dictatorships—but not by coup. The people give their democracy to a dictator, whether it's Julius Caesar or Napoleon or Adolf Hitler. Ultimately, the general population goes along with the idea." (Please don't tell me how childish I am for liking Star Wars.) Then I remembered the movie Wag the Dog and found quotes by famous dictators like Hitler and Caesar: all seemed to think that starting a war was a really good way to consolidate power. I started to look for this and noticed that there was now only one view expressed on television: the offical White House view.

Thinking I might be going paranoid, I finally talked to some people outside my official RW circle and discovered they too smelled a rat. It was then that I started looking around on the Internet. I was still under the impression that the media was liberal. What I saw on TV was the exact opposite and my impressions alarmed me. To make a long story so long that you wished you had the last five minutes of your life back...THAT is why I ended up on your site, Symbolman. I was seeing what people were saying about the media, seeing if other people noticed the shift in the news media. Probably there was a shift a long time ago, but this one was the one I noticed. The final shift: no dissent.
