Had a little letter to the editor published

in the Green Valley News, Green Valley, Az. In reply to an earlier letter saying that "Dean should be sent back to the slopes of Aspen, where he had gone right after his deferment from VietNam".
My letter was:

I'm all for sending Dean back to the slopes of Aspen where he spent time during the VietNam war.
I would also like to send George Bush back to wherever it was he spent that last year plus of his National Guard duty, that was unaccounted for, also during the VietNam war.

Now just hoping that one of those rabid retired republicans doesn't grab a piece, jump on his golf cart, and storm my house.

3. Good comeback!
I personally think he should be forced to finish his service in the Texas National Guard. He could be sent over to Iraq with the rest of our guardsmen.

4. No matter how much we rant about this all he has to do is show his
Honorable Discharge. I know it sucks but that is what we are up against. He has a paper saying he completed his required time and was honorably discharged. Can't fight that. We know the truth but will do us no good. We have many other issues to use. It doesn't hurt to put the information out there though just don't expect the "Liberal Media" to pick it up.

6. It wasn't a rant

and I don't believe his discharge reflects the nature of his service anymore than his MBA reflects his intellect.
