2. It's almost too sad for words.
My generation has always been given the back of the hand from their previous generation. They vote in Repugs, in return the Pugs basicly destroy Generation X's future. So the only thing they've got to look forward to is dieing in a war, because when their dead all of their troubles are over:cry:

4. Can you imagine the rightwingers' response to this?
The pro-troop patriotic troop-supporters would be ALL OVER these soldiers, viciously attacking them as "lazy, un-American, hateful, disgusting", every name in the book.
I've seen it happen before--remember Jessica Lynch?

9. Very poignant stuff.
The problem is that many people don't care about what's happening there. Repugs don't support the troops they support Bush. Regardless of what their leader does they will justify it. We have killed thousands not because of some real threat but because we need to further capitalism. Let's be real here we are not furthering democracy we are furthuring capitalism. The only thing we've done is force these people to open their markets to us at gun point. This was not worth one soldier's life or one Iraqi's life.

10. Thanks .. I have bookmarked this so I can balance out the
insane stories of our soldiers killing/maiming Iraqi children, women, men. This will help me in having compassion for them and realize that all are not monsters or robots. Thank you for helping to put a loving/human face to the madness in Iraq...thank you!
