If lying to Congress is a crime, and the Bushists lied to Congress...
as made clear by Will Pitt's Truthout interview with John Kerry, then shouldn't someone in Congress begin proceedings to have the Bushists punished?

1. Democrats can't initiate it; Republicans won't
apparetly--seems like the whole party is tainted, not just the Nazi wing.

3. This is the worst part of it
Self-fullfilling...the right wing idiots eat it up...

IF Bush did something wrong, surely we'd here about it! Congress would investigate!

I've heard this several times. People don't realize that the republican controlled congress will NEVER allow ANY questions about Bush to reach the floor. So call the courts, the republican courts? Or the "liberal" media? Face it kids, they bought the place, and own it. Bush could literally piss on the constitution (as opposed to his figurative pissing now) and the Republicans in congress would just blame Clinton for it and tell us how great the jobless recovery is going.

6. Congressional Democrats are currently doing something about it.

They're keeping their mouths shut.

PS: Imagine if the party situation were reversed. Would Republicans remain silent if the Clinton Administration lied to them? Even if they were in the minority?
