The whitehouse panel said that the president "goofed" when he implicated Iraq in regard to the African uranium scandal. So we went to war on a goof. How wonderful. If the public is stupid enough to buy this crock, then they deserve all the implications. The fact that they presented this story with the goof word, only proves how little regard they have for the average Joe.
8. You are correct!!! We should count our blessings!!!!!
I'm sure Ashcroft will find that someone just goofed when they leaked the Plame name to the press. And if your child died in Iraq, hey, it was a goof. Be a good patriot and pretend it was for some cause other than the slick obvious.
we started an ILLEGAL war and occupation because of a..."GOOF?!" :wtf: OMFG....you're kidding, right?
...after reading the article I can see that you're not... OMG...this is insane...just plain insane... So, does that mean that if we nuke somebody because of another "goof" we should sit around and just say "oops"? :eyes:
14. No...I haven't felt proud to be a "murikan" since....
dubya thumbed his nose to our former allies and friends.... I got a bad gut feeling when he then thumbed his nose to the international community as a whole when he stated, "you're either with us or you're against us."
I guess making a "goof" about nuclear weapons and war in the State of the Union is OK with Republicans.
But it was no goof. Bush specifically used the wording "the British have learned" as an excuse to put something into the State of the Union that American intelligence would not confirm. It was therefore a black lie.
