France blamed for US Mad Cow......
just kidding. But wouldn't fit with the rightwingnut morans? They blamed France for all their other f**k ups.

How much sense does it make to test the potential food threat and then while test results are pending, sell the animal to be slaughtered so the beef-boys can make a buck? If the test comes back indicating a problem, then its VOLUNTARY recall time. Talk about a sweet deal....

Can you imagine if the drug industry had this kind of a set-up? Here's a pill for your heart-disease sir....Oh, it made you grow a third arm? Guess we better recall the drug...if I feel like voluntarily doing it, that is.

I know there not the same thing but you get my drift. This is insanity.

3. La maladie folle de vache!!
Quick, tell Tom DeLay to change the menu at the House cafeteria to "parisburgers" and "fromageburgers." That'll solve the problem! :)

6. Don't dismiss this too quickly, Postm.
We should not be shocked at all, if we see a new article on Yahoo!News that says, "US Determines Cow had French background".

Then, when you click on the article, you see a man holding a long pedigree of the cow that was found in Eastern Washington, who was determined to come from Canada, now in fact is traced back to France. We see a close-up of Pierre LaVache, whose relatives go all the way back to the LaVache ancestors in Bourgogne.

And then they discover she had some German relatives way back.

8. I was debating between blaming France or Bill Clinton..
It had to be one of the two since they are responsible for everything from the sinking of the Titanic to the 9/11 attack.

10. How about a conspiracy between France, Clinton, Russia, Germany...
...and Osama bin Laden to cause mad cow disease? In fact, I heard they used the Dixie Chicks to infect that cow under they guise of touring the nation doing concerts.

9. Forgot to mention....
Since USDA is preliminarily blaming Canada for the tainted meat, I see this as a possible "astroturf" issue to be used by the drug industry to poo-poo over-the-border drug purchases by our seniors and by those American citizens who find it cheaper to do so claiming it to be "unsafe"...

think we may see an "astroturf" (i.e. fake grassroots movement) infomercial taking advantage of the situation?
