Check out today's Doonesbury. Bush's dumbing down of political discussion
This is a pretty good indication of the kind of explanation were going to get about everything bad that's happening in this country next year.

Unfortunately, I'm sure that there will be way too many people who buy this explanation (mainly swing voters who are relatively disengaged from following the news closely on a daily basis).

Just shows the work we will have to do to educate the public about the issues and Bush's horrid record, because the media sure as hell isn't going to tell them.
