1. Nah.... considering the expense of overhauling the entire network.
Could you picture Murdoch firing every one of his right wing babbling heads and replacing them with liberals. He'd never do it.

2. No
It has a value beyond it's profit taking. I don't think it's political lean has much to do with it's profitability.

3. That's not the point
The point is, he does it for money. The Right Wing has become the party of the superwealthy, and has duped your blue collar white male into buying into the fantasy.

The problem is that the vast masses of left wing voters, minorities and other displaced workers, don't have the $$$ that Murdoch wants. If the wealth were redistributed from the aristrocracy to the serfs (as it SHOULD BE and would be with a progressive tax code) Murdoch would turn left in a heartbeat!

6. Your own words of wisdom
"The Right Wing has become the party of the superwealthy, and has duped your blue collar white male into buying into the fantasy.
"

This is why Fox is valuable beyond profitability and someone would pay for it if it lost money.

8. Murdoch Can Afford Both
Faux makes money (not as much as CNN) now, but it didn't for years, but Murdoch can afford to do it. He supplements it with revenues from his other channels and ventures. Clear Channel does this for their hate radio stations. When the "liberal media" learns how the media works, maybe then they can break the RW grip on it.

11.  yes..I think he is completely amoral and just goes for the bucks
for instanse his son James said at the corporate meeting in London recently that he and dad Rupert had no problem working with a totalitarian regime like China if it was profitable.
Other board members were shocked but held their tongues.
He would swith sides at the drop of a hat of it suited his finances.
His new biographer describes him as 'demonic'

12. The things they promote, republicans, tried to give them
media consolidation. Who knows what else is in the pipeline that would make the largest media empire bigger and more powerful than walmart? rupert is a wing nut but his favorite pastime is making money and gaining power.
