Tom Ridge - Homeland Security Bozo
This guy is a serious wimp. He gives me no confidence whatsoever in the homeland security ruse. This entire color coded alert system is an embarrassment to the intelligence of the American people. He is now telling us to put together a kit for our families for when the next terrorist activity comes, yet this asshole tells us to go about our business, root for our football teams etc. etc. etc. What a crock o shit. Hey Tom, get a real job. This is the real FEAR FACTOR.

1. It's really hard to take some one
who looks like Eddie Munster seriously.

3. He looks like a plain-clothes detective on an old black-and-white
50s crime show.

5. I can't wait to vote for a Dem
just so I can stop seeing Ridge's ugly mug on my TV trying to scare me by saying "now, don't be scared".

*blah!*

6. The Senate needs to investigate these alerts
This is the sixth (?) time Ridge has taken the country to Orange Alert. Each time there has been no 'credible' evidence that the reasons for these alerts was based on any real intelligence. As a matter of fact, most of the times when Ridge has raised the alert, the FBI/CIA has issued statements that says they don't agree. Of course, these statements are buried in news reports that get ignored in all the hysteria.

The question is, who is creating the hysteria and why? Is it really 'chatter' from members of al Qaeda or is it the noise about the noise that they are really hearing? At least a few of the alerts, such as the one last January during the anti-war protests are obviously political. How about this time? There was some very embarrassing news that Bu$hCo needed to bury. What better way than to dominate and control the news than by issuing an alert and then let the media run wild with speculation.

Part of the problem is Ridge and the WH's preference for their own 'intelligence' sources. When the FBI/CIA don't tell them what they want to hear, then they get 'credible' evidence from reliable sources but no one knows who they are? For the sake of national security, we have a right to know where Ridge is getting his intelligence and what are the factors that trigger raising the alert.

7. We also have a right to know who wrote our energy policy.
Despicable is the best way to describe this administration. "Rights" as we've known them are GONE.

9. Watch what comes in under the radar...
during each of these "alerts".

This time it was Tongass and Patriot II.

A while back, it was ANWR; there is always something, (except an attack), during these alerts; and it always comes in under the radar.

14. Just wait.
There will be "credible' evidence" just before the election.

8. Bozo would be offended by being compared to Ridge...
I recall Bozo complainig about some repug calling a Dem a 'Bozo'.

Pretty funny stuff when Bozo comes out and says he really doesn't appreciate the GOP calling people "bozo's" because the REAL Bozo loves kids, hates war and killing and wants to see everyone treated equally. It was a real slap in the face to the GOP. They had a Snitstorm, till they found out "Bozo" was Copyrighted, and they could get into some serious trouble...LOL!

Once again, the GOP was trounced by the Clown!

11. No offense to the real Bozo. Meant more as an adjective.
Bozo was big in my kids life and did bring laughter and happiness, much unlike Ridge.

13. I agree, Bozo was actually a pretty cool clown...
I remember him as a kid...then some others came along after the original got older. But the original made it a point when he trained the new Bozo's, to make sure the kids were happy, not scared; and all treated equally.

He was far ahead of his time on the equality ideal. Boys, girls, white, black, asian; all treated like just plain old kids. I would never have suspected that after a somewhat full life, I would spend time on a computer discussing the "Decency of Bozo". LOL The circle is complete.

15. The decency of Bozo. Wow somehow that's profound.
I had a dog once named Mr. Ozob, which we all know is Bozo backwards.
