Postman Sacked For Dumping Mail- "Newman!!"

Postman sacked for dumping mail in woods

A postman has been dismissed after items of Christmas mail were found dumped in woods.

The Royal Mail has apologised to customers after around 1,800 items, thought to be about a week old, were found in woods in the Llanedeyrn area of Cardiff.

The missing mail was discovered on December 15 and within 24 hours it was sent on to customers, a Royal Mail spokeswoman said. "This happens very rarely," she added.

my own postman would do! We're lucky to get the mail by 6 p.m., even though many of the streets near us get theirs by 11 in the morning. And sometimes we wonder if we've gotten everything!

2. I have it when I get mail after 5:00.

My driveway is 150 feet long. In the winter it is one LONG walk down there if he hasn't delivered it by the time I get home.
