Does anyone know about this poll about Arab-American internment?

<Nationally, 31 percent of Americans favor detention camps for Arab-Americans, "as a way to prevent terrorist attacks in the United States.">

This was a poll after 9/11 and was mentioned by a conservative source. It is the first I have read or heard about this. Does anyone know how exactly the question was framed?

1. I'm sure the number would be up by now

We will see at least some of the candidates calling for it before summer, in the event that the bush regime plans to postpone implementing it until after the election.

Then there is a remote possibility of it occurring. However, it likely will happen at some point within the next 20 years.

I was regaining my faith in America and then I read this. :scared: :cry:

5. You know they did a "pre-emptive arrest" sweep in LA last week...

I doubt that we will see regime henchmen come on CNN and intone the "I" word :)

What we will see will be a gradual escalation of "pre-emptive arrests," in some cases it will be presented as being for your protection, to protect you from "misguided individuals," and most of those who consider themselves "progressive," will feel very bad that things have gotten to that point, and will say that they feel very bad, on this and other message boards. There will probably be such expressions for several days.
