Another thread about Dean talking.
Dean stated that America is no safer with Saddam in custody. He is absolutly right. The continued attacks in Iraq and the heightened terror alert prove that. Yet people give him flack for saying what he said. I am sorry but Americans should know better.

1. Dean's remarks are treated with the same disbelief & outrage
as the little boy in the story who said the Emperor has no clothes. The people were scandalized!

But that is the secret of his success. He says what everybody is thinking--or should be.

2. Dean was right.
Just after Saddam was captured our threat level went to high orange alert and remains there. I thought we were "safer."

3. You are right, Dean was right, it doesn't matter...
Screw what others say. Keep speaking the truth. They can't stand it when you can't be intimidated into silence. It drives them nuts!

As far as Osama bin Laden goes, there is still no evidence that would stand in a court of law implicating him. None. Don't even try me with that Fat Osama video crap. It would be thrown out. Sure, he might have been involved, co-ordinating his end. Sending his recruits to Yemen, so the State Dep't could rubber-stamp these guys to train at military facilities and take pilot lessons...

But who did the BIG planning on THIS end...

THAT'S what BushCo is trying to hide.

THAT should be Dean's theme. He should stage a public rally, invite those 9-11 widows like Breistweister and Mariani along, and demand that Bush stop stone walling.

"Mr. Bush! If you have nothing to hide, please allow these grieving widows to know the complete truth about that fateful day! It is their right, and as American citizens it is our right as well, to expect full disclosure from our public figures. Mr. Bush! You work for the people! And the people demand the truth!"

Hell, what do you want me to do? Right his speeches for him?
