Dallas Morning News names W as: "Texan of the Year"
Sunday morning breakfast. Wife picks up paper off lawn, brings it in. Her eyes shoot up and she hands me the editorial section. Big picture of W and title - TEXAN OF THE YEAR. Mostly favorable article followed. Sorry I don't have a link. I tried to find one but didn't feel like searching that hard.

Well, I guess I know what kind of day I'm going to have. I certainly know how it is starting out.

He's the best the Texas Repukes have to offer, not Texas. I'll rate any Texas Democratic higher than the Chimp on their worst day.

On Edit: Here's the link, but I'm not going to read it:

7. How about carpetbagger of the year...
that would be more appropriate, considering his Northeastern roots, and his style.

8. I'll name him "Demon of Death" for the year in my journal.
He's killed more people than anyone else in 2003.

9. They're writng about another Texas
Not this one. Public service is one thing, self service is another.
There are conserviative Republican Texans who are far more qualified and honest than this pseudo Texas will ever be.

I would not even bother to read the editorial. All is does is serves to prop up the myth of GWB as a great whatever.

13. And they ignored Austin's favorite son?
Do we still wonder what Rove is doing with all that $$$$ His puppet and the TinMan are raising?

A full-page ad for the RNC, when it should be obvious that Lance Armstrong is the "Texan of the Year"....

18. I'm sorry. I just couldn't make it all the way to the end.
I reached my end first, before I reached the end of the article. Maybe they should have put that quote at the beginning of the article.
