2. I actually ran the numbers

using my partner's mother (elderly, fixed income) as an example. If she bought her drugs from Canada she would save about 51%. Under the new plan, including the $420 premium she would save only 27%.

So why 400 billion for a plan than is not even close to simply buying from Canada????
