I don't think it's karmic if it's arranged. Karma is supposed to be about fate.

Rush is already getting paid back. Maybe you and I don't see it, but besides the bad press about himself that he's trying to ignore these days, just imagine having to live in his mind where you would believe that half of all Americans are "evil liberals." The man must have almost no one he can trust. That's a sad situation... to have no one you can trust.

That's real karma, IMO... when you imagine that everyone else is motivated by the same dishonest and greedy things that motivate you. It's a pretty dog-eat-dog place to be. I'd bet Rush "escaped" into drugs at least partly because he didn't want to live in a world full of folks just like himself.

Why give them what they want...Give them bad ratings...no one cares.

I want him to stay alive, and live a life as a hollow shell of a man, with no credibility, ridiculed in public. Spat on by old women as he shuffles down the street looking for his hillbilly herion. I want to find him one day passed out, drugged out in some dark, musty alley, and I'd just point at him and laugh and leave him rotting there, all alone.

Well maybe I'm being a bit extreme...actually I'd probably help him out.

All the talk radio/TV boys are windbags. Both sides. There purpose is to stir up controversy. I pay them no attention. Sounds like drug investigation will be Rush's hangin'... you'll get to watch your justice then ... east coast style.

but if he broke the law, he should be prosecuted to the fullest extent applicable just like anybody else would get. is this democraticunderground or the rush discussion board? there is always a bunch of rush threads going at any given time, then at 12:00, it's all rush, all the time. Don't you realize this helps him?
Anytime someone mentions his name, its good for his career, no matter what they are saying.

aside from the relatively few true believers, I think and Republican with sense is putting as much distance between Rush and themselves as possible.

There was a time when he was a force to be taken head on, but those days are gone the way of his hearing - done in by the drugs.
