We need a "Plan B!"

Given that the BFEE won't willingly take their hands out of the cookie jar http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=104&topic_id=988264&mesg_id=988264 ,
it's not too much of a leap to suggest that come the middle of November 2004, this board will no longer exist. The service provider will get a midnight visit from some jackbooted thugs, and internet hosting will suddenly no longer be available, for this and a great many sites of similar persuasion.

It's also not too much of a leap after that to imagine that if you show up at the airport, you'll suddenly find yourself on the "no fly" list. (Am I alone in thinking that the BFEE already knows the name, home address, and phone number of everyone on the board?)

How will we contact each other? How will we travel and (given that the FBI will be checking hotel registration lists) like they did in Vegas, where will we stay? What systems should be set up now?

Imagine that your WFN comes true, and think from there.

The Bush Admin will do everything in their power to shut down DU and other related sites. It is precisely these kinds of message boards that will lead to their eventual overthrow and (hopefully) prosecution.

As such, we MUST be prepared for an attack.

I was thinking a mirror site based in another country, but I don't know if that could necessarily stop the BFEE from shutting it down or restricting access.
