Did anyone hear the guy on 'Coast to Coast AM' last night?
I was only half listening, but he was talking about MIHOP, LIHOP, 9/11 anomalies, shadow governments, et al. Everything I heard made sense, especially since the guy claimed he was a traditional conservative, but didn't subscribe to today's brand of conservatism. He was basically saying that all presidents are sanctioned, chosen and elected by a power that the public doesn't know about. He also mentioned the news filter in America and that foreigners hate our government, and not the American people. Good stuff. Did anyone catch his name?

1. I didn't catch it, but here ya go...

Tuesday Recap
"At the very best the government allowed this to happen," said political scientist Joel Skousen (joelskousen.com) about the 9-11 attacks. No verifiable evidence has been produced that shows that Arabs were in charge of the strike, he said.

Further, he suggested that the last few presidents have been "script readers" who take their orders from a controlling set of individuals above them...cont.

7. Oh, him
Joel Skousen. I recognize the name. Generic conspiracy theorist from the wingnut side of things, I believe.

2. A Bill Hicks joke, which like much of his humour
is funny only because it speaks an indecent truth:

After presidents are elected, they're ushered into a smokey backroom, filled with the wealthy industrialists who are really in charge. They show him a film: it's of the JFK assassination, but shot from an entirely new angle, that looks suspiciously like the grassy knoll. The lights come up, and they ask, "Any questions?"

3. Is Art Bell no longer in charge?
Last I heard, he was a winger who wouldn't allow any anti-Bush stuff on his show.

At any rate, this exposure for MIHOP & LIHOP is awesome.

5. Art Retired. It'll still always be the Art Bell show to me though.

Great stuff on the Mars mission recently. Not much Bigfoot news lately, especially on Mars.

6. I think Art Bell came out of retirement
At least on weekends.

I could be wrong, though.

10. He subs for Geotrge Noory
I think he can pretty much come on whenever he wants to.

Supposedly, he has a bad back that keeps him from working very many hours.

4. Coast to coast does not serve this issue well
I am sorry, but Coast-to-CoastAM with George Nory is not the kind of exposure this needs. If there is anything that could be more detrimental to a legitimate issue than being discussed on this program I do not know what it is. C-to-C is frequented by the most outrageous of guests with little or no supporting evidence of their claims rather than, "See, I said it happened to me so it must be true."

C-to-C AM is nothing more than late-night 'listen to this whack-job' entertainment.

9. just gives those who refuse to even question
more firepower. "Well, I would think that ANYONE would know that something that was a topic on C-to-C AM is nothing BUT conspiracy theory." Takes away from a credible discussion!

11. You'll be sorry you dissed Coast to Coast when
Bigfoot's loose in your neighborhood and you don't know where to get info from.

Seriously, I actually have always liked the Art Bell show. Sometimes very serious, sometimes nutty.

My favorite is when they lowered a microphone into a Russian oil shaft and could hear the lamentations of the people in hell.

12. I beg to differ...
I listen to some of the show almost every night. I think there's a lot of legitimacy to the show, and if not discussed here??? Where else?? The Oxycontin Limbaugh show? Randi Rhodes (which is not nationally syndicated and probably never will be). I think CtoC is a great forum for all kinds of issues not covered by mainstream media.... any exposure is good exposure.
