Why in the world are they getting involved in *'s changing stance on immigration policy. He will have hoist himself on his own petard as far as his right-wing conservative support is concerned. And any pandering to the Hispanic community may be beneficial in garnering some more votes, but we need only point out that what he is REALLY doing is providing another chance for companies to give the SHAFT, yet once again, to the workers. They should stay OUT of this issue as far as appearing to support it, and point out how ultimately it only helps the corporations in their drive to slave wages for all Americans. We should all remember well the lessons of the recall election of California in that WHOMEVER is running against * will be viewed as a better alternative. And this same position on immigration may have been one of Gray Davis' most strategic blunders during the defense of his governorship.
