My cat is watching TV
There's a show on about funniest animals on Discovery and I just noticed that my cat is sitting in front of the television watching it really closely.

2. my dog watches tv all the time
And when he sees something he doesn't like, he'll try to attack it. The frist time I noticed this was a couple of years ago, and he tried to attack W. No, I'm not making that up. I was proud of my little doggie. :)

8. Years ago, my cat tried to attack Alf.

Only TV figure he ever tried to attack. Even went around the back of the TV to see if he could get in that way.

Mostly he preferred to watch PBS specials of big cats having sex. For those scenes he would walk up to the screen and put his nose against it.

12. the other night...
I was in my bedroom and my dog was in here with me, and I had the TV on (which is rare in the bedroom, music's usually on in here),

And some commercial came on that he didn't like, and he tried to get it. But the bedroom tv is higher. So he ran in to the living room to try to get it there. Badly for him, that tv wasn't on.

I thought that was pretty cool.

"That's rather droll. Too bad they're all such plebeians."

6. Ricky loves TV!
He chases the CNN crawler and watches intently. It started when I got him Catnip Video -- 2 delicious hours of backyard bird footage. He loves it.

Who's have thought a critter this adorable would be such a dumb shit?

10. I'll have to go and get the video.
Last Easter the local cable channel had a looped tape of bunnies hopping around and my cat (who is also named Ricky) couldn't stop watching. She kept walking around the TV to try and find those bunnies.

11. My Ricky highly recommends it.
Get the DVD version -- it's 2 hours instead of 30 min. I put it on when Ricky is harrassing the other cats to distract him. He now lets me know when he wants to watch it.

14. We got our HD tv...
And that night there was some undersea documentary on and Twinkie was just SPELLBOUND by it -- frozen stare and twitchy tail like when she watches birds out the window.
