WHAT HAPPENED???????? I'm listening to Air America here
in L.A., I go to the bathroom, I come back, and it's spanish. This is happening in Chicago too. WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The problem in Chicago is a contractual dispute with the station's owners. I haven't heard about Los Angeles but they may be owned by the same parent company.

9. I thought this thread would create an incredible amount of
interest. Is it a)no one's around because people are at work? b)even DU'ERS don't care (which I, of course, find hard to believe but then I am pmsing). What's going on?

12. I just called New York and they said the contract issues should
be resolved by the end of the day. She said that they've received "thousands" of calls. Thank God...I feel better.

I'm curious as to why you cannot "pick it up" on your computer. Assuming you have a computer and an internet connection, the only other thing required is the Realplayer software, which you can download for free from realplayer.com.

Is there some other reason you cannot listen live on the internet ? If the problem is you simply don't know how to get the realplayer software or find the Air America Radio web site, I am sure there many here at DU, including myself, who could help you with any needed information.

15. Also in LA, SPanish broadcast threw me for a loop too.
I just didnt post because my connection is slow today. I have no doubt that Al and Company will iron things out. I was looking forward to a tasty post press conference slapdown. And no, I don't have a sound card to listen to stream.
