It is to laugh!
On the way to the shelter yesterday I noticed a sign near Iron Mountain. It was one of those Clean The Highway signs with the name of the group that takes care of a stretch of road.

This two mile stretch was being taken care of by the Republican group of Iron County.

Imagine! Republicans caring about beauty in America.

2. It's been there for a while....
Whether the road is cleaner or not I can't say. Though I did feel like stopping and taking a pee....

5. just curious
I wish I could post a photo of our sign. We signed up for a 1.2 mile stretch of country road that we drive daily, and they've already put our sign up. They put it up yesterday, and I already feel guilty that I haven't begun yet.

4. Oxymoronic! Very funny. We have one down in Detroit on I-94
like that and I have been meaning to take a picture of it because you can see the filth lying all around it.
