So who's going to the choice rally on the 25th

Just curious, I'll be there, its very likely at least. and grr my cell phone still isnt working but thats ok, it can be one fixed and two I can use one of my parents.

I'm not sure if I'll be able to meet up with the DU contingent. I'm going down with a college group from Maine, hoping to get together with the DNC group, then find my way back to RFK stadium (where the bus will be parked along with gazillions of others).

I'd love to meet the DU folks but I think the logistics are working against it. But one never knows. :)

6. I'm trying to get folks together for drinks Saturday night,

but everyone keeps missing the thread.

Anybody know any good spots near Metro station that are kind of central? I hear there's a place called Stetson's where the Texas Democrats hang out.

There's also a Capitol City Brewing Company over near Union Station somewhere. I'm up for ideas, but in case I don't make the delegation on Sunday I'd like to hook up with everyone!

13. Me too, but....

Monday is all booked with Smithsonian activities, and Tuesday morning we'll be exploring some more.

Our flight heads out late Tuesday afternoon. Probably one DU evening is all I can spare.

I've been to the one on the Mall. :thumbsup:

But, they just opened a new one out by Dulles Airport that focuses on the history of flight. http://www.nasm.si.edu/museum/udvarhazy/ I might have to make it out there. :-)

16. Nope-- the American Culture/History one

Sorry-- Air and Space Museum would cause me to have dry heaves remembering my ex-stepmonster. He worked at Brooks AFB at the centrifuge.

I really wanted to go to the Holocaust Museum, but I waited too long to try to get an early ticket.

I think I'll try to get to the National Gallery. Since I was an art major and all.

My time is not completely my own. We already have our hotel in DC for Saturday night and all. And I know after our flight, I'll want to settle in and explore the city a bit.
