a couple of VERY random questions apropos of nothing...

(1) I'm a hockey fan and I see there are a bunch of other hockey fans here too. Nowadays, whenever I read the hockey news sites (like ESPN.com or NHL.com or Yahoo Sports), every time I see the name "Fleury" it's always referring to the Penguins' goalie prospect Marc-Andre, not the former Flames star Theo. What exactly happened with Theo? I know the guy's a head case with serious drug and behavioral issues. My question is, did he officially retire, or is he still trying to look for an NHL team that will put up with his shit? And under what circumstances exactly did he leave his last team (I believe it was Chicago)?

(2) I grew up in the '80s and I know there are a ton of '80s nostalgia freaks online, and I see a lot of web sites reminiscing about '80s fashions, music, etc. My question: were the same clothes popular in countries like Germany, Sweden or Holland as here during that time? You know, Tretorn sneakers, Guess jeans, etc? I lived in England in 1989-90 and noticed that people's dress sense was VERY different from the way people dressed in America.
