who else is watching Band of Brothers now?
excellent series, it really shows how terrible war is--last night those guys in Easy Company were about to be wiped out, until those Shermans showed up. What really struck me was the one GI who was suffering from...Post Traumatic Syndrom after numerous attacks from the Nazis--poor guy was shaking on the ground and screaming in fear :(
That showed there's nothing "sweet" or "cool" about war--it's hell.

According to the History channel commercials promoting it.

And then they run these Goeringesque propaganda shows for the travesty in Iraq.

Fuck the History Channel.

4. those stupid GI ads do suck
"I'm Captain so-and so, such and such Division.." I treat these ads like the shit * puts out, one remote control click and gone :evilgrin: Of course,I bet mst of those guys in the ads are now having to stay in iraq longer or go back sooner...bad karma I suppose.

Poor Blithe. I may watch some more of it later. It really is a great series, I loved it.
