I HATE snakes. HATE them!

And I've been checking out the fruit trees and Japanese maples at the one near us lately.

If they could ship one in a tree as close as Broken Arrow, that truck could also deliver here!

I'll be ordering my Japanese maple from one of my gardening catalogs, I think.

I did the yard work at my Mom's house and always walked around picking up the branches after a storm and before I fired up the lawn mower.

It's amazing how fast a branch can slither away if it dosen't want to be picked up....

Last place I'd ever expect that to happen.

Speaking of snakes, I've been watching too much damn Animal Planet! I took two trips down to the southwest last year (AZ and NV), and I was watching every step I took, when I was in the mountains or the desert. I mean, it seems that Steve Irwin (and the like) can just choose a bush at random, and voila! There's some venoumus snake hiding in there.
