3. Cleveland made the play-offs last year
Cincinnati has sucked since the early nineties. My feeling on that is that it is ownership issues. The guy doesn't know football and he won't hire a general manager. That may have changed this year. I know the Bengals went out and got a new head coach this year and forked over some money for a few free agent veterans. I'm hoping they do better this season. I live 40 miles north of Cincy and I grew up watching those super bowl teams of the eighties. So I'm a fan.

5. The silver (and Honolulu blue) lining:

Steve Mariucci has scheduled the coming-out party for rookie wide receiver Charles Rogers -- Saturday in the exhibition at Cincinnati...

"I expect him to play some. We've got to figure out when to put him in and with who, what quarterback. But I would like him to play a little bit this week."

And that is fine with Rogers, whose NFL debut was delayed a week by the dislocated ring finger he suffered July 29, the third day of training camp. He was limited for more than a week because of the stitches in the finger but has worked his way back into the full training camp regimen.

6. Gooo PACKERS!!! Oops, I think I'm in the wrong place...
Actually, husband is a Lions fan, so I guess it would be okay for them to win, seeing as it's still the preseason. Enjoy the game!:toast:
