WORK! :-(

I'm on hour 10 of a 13-hour day. God I hate Fridays!

So, since I can't have a birthday party :party: anybody want to join my pity party. :nopity:

6. I have a job and a half

I work full time during the day and have another job I go to on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights.

I was thinking of quitting the second job but found out my proprerty taxes are probably quadrupling :wow: so now I may not be able to afford to quit if I want to keep my house. :-(

because I live in an older house in an older neighborhood, but the main problem is a shift in the tax base from business and industry to homeowners.

Of course, industry shouldn't be required to pay for the infrastructure that makes their operations possible. :grr:

How do you feel? Congrats on your great ride today.

I just registered for a ride in Joliet on May 2. Mileage options include 50, 68 and 100. What should I go for? Depends on the weather but if it's a nice day, I may throw caution to the wind and go for the century. (But, I'm thinking the 68-miler is much more likely.)

You know I'll take you up on that drink offer next time you're visiting family in Chicago. :hi:

15. Feel better now than I did a few hours ago

That ride pretty much took everything my legs could give. I need to do those kinds of rides more often.

As for your choices, the 50-miler sounds impressive enough to low-mileage me, but I'm confident you could handle any of the three options.
