2. What a dickhead

Although this is after all Star Wars, not the Rise and Fall of the Roman Empire, what he said is still crap.
For example, he completely forgets that part of this new government he's touting had as members the Trade Federation, which is the baddies from movie 1, and are a corporatist front. He compares them to OPEC, but a better comparison is Halliburton. Of course, I'm sure he thinks Halliburton are the good guys.
And then there was the line about Pinochet being a benevolent dictator! I wonder if all the dead Chileans believe that too. Maybe they count their blessings that they were murdered by a benevolent dictator rather than a despot...
