Poll question: Which political science class should I take?
Politics in Europe

"An examination of the European Union and of political institutions and behaviour in European countries."

or

Health Care Policy in America

"History of changes in the United States health care system; emphasis on the political forces that shape public and private provision of health care in the United States."

They are at the same time, so I can't take both.

1. Health Care Policy in America.
The gummint will only get serious about it when people start dying for no good reason. Someone needs to be knowledgeable it and cause some movement in the right direction.

2. I know next to nothing
about health care policy, beyond very basic things. I know a bit more about the EU and European politics, mainly from reading lots of news articles.

3. Do you see yourself as Sec of State, or Sec of HHS?

4. More likely
neither. :)

But of the two, State is more likely, because I know more about it already. (I read more articles about foreign relations than about health care) I'm also a bit more interested in it, but health care policy seems like something good to know about as well, and I would be interested to know more about it.

You'll get more use out of the European course even if it's just to make intelligent conversation with others at dinner parties!

7. I can already make decently intelligent conversation about
European politics... But about healthcare policy I am lost :)

But on the other hand, the European course counts as a requirement for my international relations major (but then, on the other hand, that's only a very minor consideration because I only need to take about 4 or 5 more courses for my major in the next 2 years.)
