Silent film fans: Lost Valentino/Swanson film discovered

Looks like a complete print of "Beyond the Rocks" has been found in the Netherlands! :bounce:

But it will likely make the film festival circuit first. It's amazing that they keep finding "lost" silent films. I'll never forget when they dug up the vault that had been frozen underground in Siberia about 10 years ago...

3. This may show up at the Chicago Film Festival.

I'd like to see these silent films put under the aegis of the Library of Congress film collection. It would be restored and classified as a film landmark. Not saying that this one would be a great film, but we seem to be losing our silent films due to neglect.
