1. The DAR? Maybe I did them a disservice

I have had a problem with them not allowing Marion Anderson to sing in their hall in the 40s. Sounds like the Daughters have decided to become more liberal!

2. I don't think he's going to say much about Bush

I saw Chris when he came to Portland in February. He had a few minutes of political material, but 99% of his act dealt with relationships. Who knows, he may do more political material on HBO.

3. I'm going to watch

we're staying in this evening so I think I'll watch Chris. I remember when he did a very funny bit on Bill Maher's old show during the primaries...he was a correspondent. And always the only black guy in New Hampshire and Iowa. He can be brutal but accurate. I'm hoping he gets political tonight. I think he will.

13. Solid Effort

As far as stand up is concerned it was a great effort.

It wasn't all 4-letter words but was rather intelligent and very funny.

There were some obscure references that some people will miss.

I'd give it an B+.
