New Quinn Pics. . .
I was bored and Quinn was being Quinn, so here's the results :)

Cries of Awwwwwww, How Cute, and Isn't he Precious???? are more than welcome :).






This one shows his stripes of pretty well, you couldn't see them as much before, they're starting to be more pronounced as he gets older :).





I just decided that with the cute puppy pics today, I had to make sure Quinn was still out there, can't let him fade into obscurity :) :) :)

6. Quinn looks like a cat I once had named Orange Julius
It's that creamsicle color scheme -- absolutely irresistible.

I think Quinn is fluffier than Julius was, though.

From the pic you showed today, Id say they are almost the exact same color. Mobius' markings are more swirly that striped, however...

About how big is Quinn?

Erin is still about half the size of Lucky, and still at that "I'm so cute I can get away with anything, including chewing on Archae's nose when he's trying to sleep" age. :-)

25. He's pretty big for a 7 or 8 month old.. . .
At least that's how old I think he is. I got him at Thanksgiving, and he was about 6 weeks then.

I think he's gonna be pretty big when he's full grown.

I did it in photoshop, with layers.

Copied the base layer, then desaturated the new layer.

Erased eyes from desaturated layer so original layer showed through.

Very simple, only took about 5 minutes :). This is the original colored version:

;-) He really is! And is certainly becoming a gorgeous red cream dilute mackerel tabby (that's a mouthful for the vet's office!) He looks like such a love bug too! :loveya:

I took these of Oberon and Puck yesterday-they are so happy to be reunited after Puck's surgery!

I only have two windows that get good light; the guest bedroom and the master bath. Nearly every kitty pic is taken in one of those two rooms-thankfully, the kitties cooperate!

Puck is recovering at an astonishing speed (she was spayed on Monday-I had brought "him" in to be neutered. Quite a surprise to find out that a previous vet was wrong about the gender!). She's already galloping full tilt through the house and beating up Oberon on a regular basis, lol!

20. Here's a weird thing
I was walking around one of the neighborhood lakes this evening, and saw a Mallard family with four normally colored ducklings (dark brown and gold) and one duckling that was the same color as Quinn! I'll try to take a photo tomorrow. It wasn't an albino, and it had the same patterning as the other ducklings, just pale red and cream instead of the standard hues. Any ideas on what would have caused the mutation?

Quinn's delicious. Oberon & Puck are gorgeous. Ricky, as always, makes me want to cuddle him. Thanks, everyone, for all the photos.

I'm in love with Quinn! I can see why ET found that sweet little face irresistible. Oberon and Puck are beautiful too. As for Ricky -- you want him? I'll ship him to you for free. He's a cuddler, he's adorable, he's friendly. He's also a PITA -- big time.

34. Just wanted to let you know that pics of fluffy kitties,Quin in particular
helped me get thru an MRI today without totally freaking out. :)
I'm claustrophobic, so I opted for the open machine. Had 3 motrin in me and thought I was going to be OK. And I was OK until a certain point. Had to trance myself out thinking of fluffy kittens. :silly:

It's never a good thing to be required to go through an MRI. :-(

Here's a couple of additional fuzzy kitten photos, though Puck isn't nearly as cute as Quinn (she's more "otherworldly"). Frankly, I don't know of many kittens who are as cute as Quinn!



I don't have any REALLY young photos of Oberon. This one of his younger brother will have to do :-)
