11. Sure...but what's your gut instinct?

Gut instinct is usually right in these circumstances.

If anything you could always suggest the innocuous meet over coffee - pretty much the least threatening place you could ever take a date.

You never want to be guessing years down the line.
I also once was shy to ask a girl out, had no idea what she thought of me but I was besotted with her.

I somehow got the courage up to ask her out and we've now been married for eight years.

Remember, if you don't ask.....you'll never know.

On edit: Oh, one more thing.
Try to do it "face to face", not via email.

Much better that way.

If she turns you down there isn't much time for it to be awkward before you don't have to see her for 3 months. By then all will be forgotten.
