Letterman: First Or Last?
Do you prefer the first half of the show where he just fucks around with Paul, or tells you a silly story? Or the parts with the "celebrities?"

5. By far the first half...
...unless there's some dimwitted celeb he's going to savage in the second half.
He doesn't do that that much anymore though. He's been 'nicer' since his heart attack...

9. Yeah, the first part is more entertaining.
The second part is when some lame-o showbiz type comes on to shill their latest endeavor. That's when I turn it off and go on the web. Web speed is usually pretty good by then.

BTW; has anyone heard anything about Larry "Bud" Melman lately. I know he has done a few "walk-ons" but not lately. Also, when he was at NBC, there was a girl "Meg" in a building across from his that he used to chat with, sort of like he does with Rupert now. I wonder what ever became of her?

10. Prefer first half of Letterman and any similar show
I never watch the guests. I have no desire to listen to ten minutes of mindless blather for a 30-second movie clip.

On Mondays I watch Leno just long enough for "headlines." On all other nights where I'm watching TV at that hour, I watch Letterman. The TV gets switched off or to another channel just before the first guess comes on.
