1. Going to college for 6 years does not make you smart it just
means you have been to college for 6 years.I have met people in college who just would not open their minds to anything and were sure they were very smart. They were never wrong to hear them.

5. For some going to college means that your
parents were able to write a hefty check. There are colleges/universities out there who will not flunk kids whose parents request no financial aid of any kind.


So much for the meritocracy. I think that's why Bush's crowd does not like Kerry. Yeah Kerry came from an upper crust family but nothing like Bush's. Kerry and Clinton had to WORK for what they have and the fact that they succeeded (ESPECIALLY Clinton) really ticks the top 10 per-centers off. Working class people, even smart ones, are supposed to know their place and stay there.
