Anyone know the meaning of all the "Remember" bumper/window stickers in GA
I visited some family in Griffin, GA today and almost every other car had a sticker on it that said, "Remember." Most were with white lettering with some sort of wreath beneath. My aunt says that they were around prior to 911; she does not know what it means either. Does anyone here know what it means?

5. Flag Controversy
Edited on Wed Apr-28-04 09:57 PM by RoyGBiv
I'd have to see it to be sure, but I would bet it has something to do with the controversy surrounding the state flag. "Remember" was kind of a battle cry for those wanting to maintain the Civil Rights era flag that incorporated the St. Andrews Cross.

On Edit: By "Civil Rights era" I mean that the flag was changed during this time to inportate the St. Andrews Cross.

6. thanks
I wouldn't be surprised if that's what it is all about.
I noticed several confederate signs with slogans like, "Sonny Lied."

7. Apparently, it's specific to that town and county, and they don't know
what it means either: http://www.henrycountyonline.com/henryventarchives040506_2002.htm
Ctrl+F either "sticker" or "remember" when you get there and you'll see a few suggestions.
